At Lawrenceville First Preschool, we believe that children are a precious gift from God and that the preschool years are a foundational and formative time for children. Our desire is to provide each child with an opportunity to discover God's love and His importance in their lives. We offer experiences that enhance a child's development academically, physically, emotionally, and spiritually

About us

In September of 1969, Lawrenceville First Baptist Church, with the help of the pastor Rev. Corley, began a Kindergarten program with nineteen children. In the years to come, the Kindergarten grew to an enrollment of 260 students with 28 faculty and staff. The church's central location provided an ideal setting to serve families in the Lawrenceville and surrounding areas.

Today, after 45 successful years, the Lawrenceville First Preschool serves our community with a quality, Christ-centered learning environment for children ages 2 through young 5's. We offer a young 5's pre-k class which is specifically designed for children that turn 5 between September 1-December 31. We believe that learning should be wholistic; a learning environment that enhances a childs development mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. This type of learning environment includes: circle time, daily learning centers, art, science, social sciences, spanish, movement, and bible.

The children also give back to the community in which they come from. Every year the children participate in an annual St. Jude Children's Hopsital fundraiser. Over the last 10 years the children have raised $60,732.50 for St. Jude. The funds that were raised would be enough to fully fund three surgical procedures.

Her heart is to share God's love through her words, deeds, and actions with all of the children at the preschool.

Mrs. Jackie and her husband, Michael, live in Lawrenceville with their two children. They are actively involved in Hyde's Chapel Baptist Church in Conyers, Ga., where Michael serves as Senior Pastor. To contact Jackie, please call 770.513.4174
