Family

Lawrenceville First is "for the family." The Bible uses the image of family to describe our life together. Jesus instructs us to pray to God as "our Father." (Mt. 6:6, 9) The Bible describes Christ followers as the adopted "sons and daughters" of God. (Eph. 1:3-5; 2 Cor. 6:18) For us, a commitment to family is a commitment to strengthen and serve everyone who calls Lawrenceville First their home. At Lawrenceville First, you won't just find a church; you will find a family!

City

Lawrenceville First is "for the city." Our campus sits in the center of Lawrenceville. Lawrenceville is the county seat of Gwinnett County. In ancient times, God instructed his people to "seek the welfare of the city." (Jer. 29:7) Our members seek the welfare of the city in many tangible ways.

Our desire is to be a blessing to our city!

nations

Lawrenceville First is "for the nations." We long to see the day when the nations will "be glad and sing for joy." (Ps. 68:4) We anticipate the day when people of "all tribes and people and languages" will surround the throne and cry: "Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!" (Rev. 7:9-10) Our mission is to carry out Jesus' commission to make disciples (Mt. 28:18) and to be his witnesses. (Acts 1:8) We partner locally with several different language congregations, and we send international mission teams to work with partner churches around the world. We desire to introduce Jesus to people who have never heard his name.
